Print double-sided to save paper
In short
Cut your paper usage in half by printing cards on both sides. We walk through the exact settings.
1 Configure the print job
1
Start PDF printing
Cmd+P (Mac) or Ctrl+P (Windows).
2
Enable double-sided
"Two-sided", "Print on both sides" or "Duplex" option.
3
Pick the binding
"Long-edge binding": both cards face the same way. "Short-edge binding": they're head-to-tail.
4
Start
The printer prints one side, pulls the sheet back in, prints the back.
Recommendation
"Long-edge binding" is almost always the right choice. Both cards stay readable the same way up, simplifying handout and reading.
2 Check before running
Run 1-2 test sheets before the full 30 pages. Check: margin alignment, QR code readability, card orientation.
Did you know?
A laser printer handles double-sided better than an inkjet. Inkjet can smudge if the back is printed before the front is dry.
