A custom background gives your room screen real identity. Image (Pro plan) or looping video (Premium plan).

**16:9 format** recommended, 1920×1080 px minimum.
**Subject contained** in the center or on the sides (the main number takes the middle).
**Dark overlay** automatically applied to preserve readability.

A photo of your community hall, an aerial view of the village, a big watermarked logo, a photo from last year's AGM.

2 Background video

**.mp4 format**, H.264 codec.
**10 to 30 seconds** on loop.
**No sound** (audio is not played).
**50 MB max**.

3 Important precautions

Avoid fast or flashing videos: they tire the eyes and can trigger episodes in photosensitive people. Stick to slow shots, like a drone gliding over a beach.

On older smart TVs a background video can stutter. If you hit this, switch back to a still image — it's always smoother.
