Pause in the middle of a draw
In short
Need to break the rhythm? The "Pause" button cleanly stops everything and the room screen shows a waiting message. Resume on click.
1 When to pause
- Verify a winning card (the most common).
- Announce a prize or sponsor by voice.
- Handle the unexpected (mic failure, a player calling out).
- Let the audience breathe between rounds.
- Drink a glass of water — you're entitled too!
2 How to do it
1
Click "Pause"
Button next to the large number, in the console.
2
Do what you need to do
Verification, announcement, handout, etc.
3
Click "Resume"
The draw picks up exactly where it stopped.
3 What the audience sees
On the room screen, the large number stays displayed. A discreet banner at the bottom says "⏸️ Pause — back in a moment". All previously drawn numbers stay visible.
Host trick
Use the pause to remind the audience of the prizes to win, mention sponsors, or build suspense ("Two more numbers and we have our winner!").
