How long does a bingo game last?

In short
Count 6 to 12 minutes for a line, and 40 to 60 minutes for a full round (line, double, full card). A 5-round evening runs about 2.5 hours.

This is the question we get most before an event. Here are the real numbers observed across hundreds of sessions.

1 Duration by turn type

6-12 min
Quine (1 line)
12-18 min
Double (2 lines)
20-30 min
Full card

Then count 5-10 minutes of break between rounds to announce the winner, hand over the prize, let the audience breathe.

2 A typical evening

1
7:00pm — Doors open
Card sales, audience seating. 30 min.
2
7:30pm — Round 1
Quine, double, full card. 45 min.
3
8:15pm — Buffet break
20 min — slightly longer than other breaks.
4
8:35pm — Rounds 2 to 4
Three rounds back to back. 2 hours.
5
10:35pm — Super-prize draw
Single round with a special prize. 15-20 min.
6
11:00pm — Wrap
Thanks, equipment tidy-up.

3 How to speed up (or slow down)

💡
Speed up
Switch the draw to automatic at 4-5 seconds per number. And limit each round to a single pattern (just the full card, for instance).
💡
Slow down
Manual mode + voice announcement + small anecdotes between draws. Ideal for a senior audience who likes to take their time.
