Do I need to import a player list?
In short
Good news: no, it's not required. BingoShow follows a simple principle — the card number IS the identifier.
1 Why no player file
Our philosophy: players shouldn't need to do anything before the evening. No account to create, no app to install, no pre-registration. They show up, buy a card, play. Simple.
Our tip
Just write the winner's name on the card stub (keep the stubs like at a funfair). It's the lightest and most reliable setup.
2 If you want to track winners
You can still link a name to a card after the fact, from the host console. Useful for:
- The AGM report ("18 distinct winners this year").
- Drawing a super-prize among the winners.
- Keeping a multi-edition history.
The Premium plan adds a "Player registration" feature with individual QR codes for professional events that want to track every participant.
