Broadcast via Chromecast or Smart TV

In short
Three methods to project to your modern TV: Chrome "Cast" button, the TV's built-in browser, or a Chromecast dongle.

1 Method 1 — "Cast to TV" button (Chromecast)

If you have a Chromecast dongle (Google) or a TV with built-in Chromecast (most recent Sony, TCL, Hisense):

1
Open Chrome or Edge
Native Cast doesn't work on Safari or Firefox.
2
Click "Cast to TV"
Button in the BingoShow live console.
3
Pick the TV
The list of Cast devices detected on your Wi-Fi appears.
4
Confirm on the TV
The room screen appears instantly.

2 Method 2 — Smart TV browser

On Samsung Tizen, LG webOS or Sony Google TV, you can open the built-in browser and type your bingo's short URL directly.

💡
Host tip
Create a short link (bit.ly/your-bingo) to make typing on the TV remote easier. Typing a long URL with a remote is a nightmare.

3 Cast troubleshooting

The "Cast" button only shows in desktop Chrome or Edge. Firefox and Safari don't support native Cast.
  • Chromecast invisible → check your PC is on the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi as the dongle.
  • Laggy image → resolution too high, drop it to 720p in Cast options.
  • Missing button → Chrome menu → three dots → "Cast".
Did you know?
Hisense and TCL Google TVs embed Chromecast directly. No external dongle needed — the TV itself is the receiver.
