Invite a co-host with a link + PIN
In short
Give access to a friend, a volunteer, or a colleague without them creating an account. A secure link, a 4-digit PIN, and you're set.
1 How it works
The co-host receives a link to open on their phone or PC. On arrival, they're asked for a 4-digit PIN (which you've sent separately, for security). And bam, they're on the console — exactly like you, with no account to create.
2 Create the link
1
Open the session editor
Click your session in the dashboard.
2
Open Settings → Share links
The "Settings" tab of the editor, "Share links" section.
3
Click "Co-host link"
BingoShow auto-generates a link and a 4-digit PIN.
4
Copy everything
"Copy link" button. The PIN stays on screen for you.
Example generated PIN
4 8 2 7
4 digits, randomly generated. Different each time you create a link.
3 Share it smartly
The golden security rule
Send the link and the PIN over two different channels. Link by email, PIN by SMS. That way, even if one is intercepted, the other stays safe.
- ✅ Good: link by email + PIN by SMS.
- ✅ Good: link on WhatsApp + PIN over the phone.
- ⚠️ OK: link and PIN in the same message.
- ❌ Avoid: link shared in a public group or on social media.
4 Security
You stay in control: at any time you can revoke the link or regenerate the PIN. The old one stops working immediately.
Did you know?
The link is automatically invalidated 48 hours after the session ends. No need to think about it — it cleans itself up.
